How Paid Promotion Works
Simple, fair and transparent
When you purchase a promotion on Jarvilo Discover, your promotion does not necessarily go live immediately.
We limit the number of promotions that can be active at the same time. This keeps the Discover platform useful for visitors and gives every approved promotion a fair amount of exposure.
Because of this, there may be a waiting period between your payment and the moment your promotion starts appearing on Discover.
The important part: your paid promotion period does not start when you pay. It starts when your promotion actually goes live.
So if you purchase a 7-day promotion, you receive 7 full days of active promotion.
How it works
1. Choose your promotion
Select the promotion package you want and complete the submission form.
You provide the information needed to display your promotion, including your artist name, promotional text and relevant music or video links.
2. Complete your payment
You are redirected to PayPal to complete your payment.
After payment, your request is received by Jarvilo Discover.
3. Payment is checked
Payments are manually checked before a promotion is approved.
This helps us make sure that each paid promotion is connected to the correct submission.
4. Your promotion waits for an available spot
If all available promotion spots are currently occupied, your paid request remains waiting for approval.
This is normal.
We do not start your promotion period while you are waiting for a spot.
For example:
You purchase a 7-day promotion today, but all available spots are currently occupied.
Your promotion may have to wait until an existing promotion finishes.
Your 7 days do not start during this waiting period.
5. Your promotion goes live
When a promotion spot becomes available, your promotion can be approved and activated.
This is the moment your promotion period starts.
If your package is for 7 days, you receive 7 days from the moment your promotion becomes active.
6. Your promotion is displayed
Your promotion is automatically displayed in the relevant section of Jarvilo Discover according to the promotion package you purchased.
Depending on the package, this can include:
- Artist promotion
- Featured music
- YouTube promotion
- Spotify promotion
- Suno promotion
Music and video links can be displayed directly within the Discover experience where supported.
Why is there sometimes a waiting period?
We deliberately limit the number of active promotions.
For example, a package may allow a maximum of 10 active promotions, while 3 promotions are displayed at the same time.
If all 10 active positions are already occupied, new paid submissions wait until an active promotion finishes.
This means we do not simply add unlimited promotions to the page.
The result is a more controlled system where promotions have room to be seen.
Your promotion period is protected
This is important:
Payment date ≠ promotion start date.
Your paid promotion period begins when your promotion becomes active.
For example:
Monday: You purchase a 7-day promotion
Monday–Wednesday: Your request is waiting for an available spot
Thursday: Your promotion goes live
Thursday–Wednesday: Your full 7-day promotion period runs
You therefore do not lose Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday from your paid promotion period.
What does “Rotation” mean?
Some packages use rotation to determine how many promotions are displayed at the same time.
For example:
Maximum Active: 10
Rotation: 3
This means up to 10 promotions can be active within that package, while 3 promotions are displayed at the same time.
As promotions finish their active period, new approved promotions can take their place.
This allows multiple artists to participate without filling the Discover page with too many promotions at once.
What does “Maximum Active” mean?
Maximum Active is the maximum number of promotions that can be active for that package at the same time.
For example:
Maximum Active: 10
This means that once 10 promotions are active, another paid submission cannot be activated until one of those promotions finishes.
Your paid request remains waiting for an available spot.
How long will I have to wait?
The waiting time depends on how many promotion spots are currently occupied and when those active promotions finish.
Some promotions may therefore start quickly, while others may have to wait longer.
We cannot guarantee an exact activation date before a promotion spot becomes available.
What we can guarantee is that your paid promotion period starts when your promotion actually becomes active.
After your promotion ends
When your promotion period ends, it is automatically removed from the active promotion rotation.
The next eligible paid promotion can then be approved and activated.
If you want to continue promoting your music, you can submit another promotion when you are ready.
In short
Submit → Pay → Payment checked → Wait for an available spot → Approved → Promotion goes live → Full promotion period starts → Promotion ends
The key point
You may have to wait after payment, but you do not lose paid promotion days while waiting.
A 7-day promotion means 7 days of active promotion, starting when your promotion actually goes live.
